As a leading independent supplier of furniture and lighting in the UK for over 25 years, The Design Net caters for both B2B clients and Interior Designers with a focus on quality and sustainability. Our own bespoke brand, TDN, delivers custom solutions, while our dealership offers furniture packages from our partner brands.

We source from a selected group of exclusive European brands, including B+B Italia, Maxalto, Knoll, Contardi Lighting, Traba, Crassevig, and Gloster and we are able to supply other brands too.

    Sustainability

    Our goal is to create and supply high-quality and durable items that will eventually become antiques of the future.

    One of the most significant shifts in recent years has been the rise of sustainable and eco-friendly produced furniture and lighting. Our clients and The Design Net team are increasingly aware of the impact of their purchasing decisions on the environment and are seeking products that are both stylish and environmentally conscious, but also built without a damaging environmental impact. Selecting and sourcing viable options which meet this need is vital for the future of our planet.

    We work closely with our dealer brands and have an understanding of their individual sustainability statements. We have a dedicated interest in what materials are used in the manufacturing process so that our clients receive products that have in-built longevity and stand the test of time.

    Sustainability is inherent in all our areas of work:

    • We manufacture our own products to order and to the highest possible standard, meaning we make to last.
    • We recycle everything from our office supplies to donating all the unused samples to local schools and colleges for reuse.
    • Our British workshops are within 45 miles of our studio and warehouse to avoid any extra mileage.
    • We manufacture from sustainably sourced timber, with minimum handling, and transportation from the source.
